حي القصبة أو حي السويقة، رحبة الصوف ورحبة الجمال، سوق العطارين وسوق الصياغة وسوق الحدادين، سوق الجزارين وسوق الغزل ثم سوق العصر،...مساجدها وجوامعها: مسجد الامير عبد القادر (الجامعة الإسلامية) والجامع الكبير وجامع سوق الغزل وجامع سيدي الكتاني وجامع سيدي الاخضر وجامع الأربعين شريفا.

وتشتهر المدينة بصناعة الحلويات التقليدية كــ: ( القطايف -الجوزية وطمينة
